In the wilds of the garden.

  1. See....here's the thing. Since you only walk and take pics on sunny days you are giving an entirely false impression about our little corner of the world. It's not all sunshine and fields of flowers! Show us the glorious grittiness of the fishing village and Jaine braving the elements, pulling a sled through the snow, or wearing her fishing cap while looking out over the harbour on a stormy day.

On another, slightly more educational note....have you seen thepioneerwoman.com? It is gaggingly syrupy but she has an interesting section on photography. Oh yes - and food!

  2. But we don't only walk and take photos on sunny days!!! Each day's post is a photo taken THAT DAY, unless noted (3 of the current 66 posted photos are "from the archives"). Of the remaining 63 posts, 17 are indoor shots. But indoor shots don't necessarily mean bad weather -- photos involving props, for instance, are just easier to set up indoors. The truth is, since the middle of March, it's been pretty easy to find at least a patch of good weather during the day to walk and take a photo.

But, here at Jaine 365, we aim to please. So, next time there's a torrential rain storm, we'll swathe ourselves in Gortex and get a photo. In the meantime, you can relive March 27th:
